About Us / Mission Statement

The Ladies Executive Golf Society (LEGS) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit professional association dedicated to advancing women in business through golf, leadership development, and strategic relationship building. LEGS exists to improve business conditions for women executives and entrepreneurs by fostering meaningful connections, professional growth, advocacy, and a collaborative business environment. We serve the collective interests of our members and do not provide individual services for personal gain.

Purpose Statement

Our mission is to improve business conditions for women leaders by using golf as a platform for connection, opportunity, and influence. Ladies Executive Golf Society serves as a united voice for our members, promotes ethical and sustainable business practices, and supports professional advancement through education, networking, and advocacy.

Understanding Our 501(c)(6) Status

A 501(c)(6) organization is a tax-exempt business league or professional association organized to promote common business interests and improve industry or professional conditions. Unlike charitable organizations, 501(c)(6) nonprofits are permitted to engage in advocacy and lobbying related to their mission. Donations are not considered charitable contributions for tax purposes, but membership dues or contributions may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses.
